Taj Mahotsav is a 10-day cultural festival held near the Taj Mahal in Agra. It celebrates India's rich heritage through art, craft, music, dance, and cuisine.It brings together artisans and performers from across the country, promoting traditional Indian culture and tourism.

 History Behind the Day

First organized in 1992 by the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
The festival takes place at Shilpgram, close to the Taj Mahal, attracting thousands of visitors.
Each year has a different theme celebrating Indian culture or heritage.
